About the Role

Reporting to the Associate Director, Human Resources, you will partner with managers and leaders to provide practical, commercially focused HR advice and support. You'll play a key role in delivering high‐quality people solutions across the employee lifecycle while helping to drive a positive and engaging employee experience. This role offers variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to contribute to both operational and strategic HR initiatives within a collaborative global environment.

What You'll Be Doing

Business Partnering & Employee Relations

  • Partner with managers and leaders to provide day‐to‐day HR guidance across the employee lifecycle.
  • Advise on employee relations matters including performance management, workplace behaviour, grievances, conduct matters, and policy interpretation.
  • Coach and support leaders to effectively manage people‐related challenges and make informed decisions.
  • Assist with workplace investigations and support the resolution of employee issues in line with company policies and employment legislation.

Talent & Employee Lifecycle

  • Support onboarding, internal movements, and offboarding processes.
  • Prepare employment‐related documentation and provide advice on employment terms and conditions.
  • Assist with visa sponsorship and international hiring processes where required.
  • Support performance and development review cycles and associated activities.

Organisational Change & HR Projects

  • Support organisational change initiatives including restructures, role changes, consultation processes, and change communications.
  • Contribute to local and global HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in the development and review of HR policies, procedures, position descriptions, and employee documentation.

Reporting & HR Operations

  • Prepare and analyse HR reports and people metrics.
  • Maintain HRIS data integrity and support system improvements and updates.
  • Assist with monthly payroll processes.
  • Monitor people trends and identify opportunities for improvement.

Culture & Engagement

  • Support employee engagement, recognition, and culture initiatives.
  • Promote positive workplace practices aligned with Avance Clinical's values and culture.

About You

You'll be a confident HR professional who enjoys building trusted relationships and partnering with leaders to deliver practical people solutions.

To be successful, you'll bring:

  • 4–6+ years' experience in Human Resources, People & Culture, or a similar HR advisory role.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of Australian and New Zealand employment legislation.
  • Exposure to employment legislation across Asia is highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated experience managing employee relations matters including performance, conduct, grievances, and investigations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‐paced environment.
  • High levels of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
  • Experience using HRIS platforms, with HiBob experience highly desirable.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills.
