Leadership Role in School Improvement
The Department for Education seeks a skilled and experienced leader to drive school improvement initiatives across its public schools.
Key Responsibilities:
* Fostering systemic and localized approaches to enhance student outcomes
* Collaborating with external stakeholders to promote innovation and continuous improvement
* Providing insights to inform strategic planning and policy development
* Supporting schools in developing tailored four-year strategies aligned with departmental priorities
* Identifying targeted support initiatives to improve student outcomes
Requirements:
* Current registration to work with vulnerable people (Registration Status – Employment)
* A registered teacher with full registration within the meaning of the Teachers Registration Act 2000
Desirable Qualifications:
* Four years or more training as defined in the Teaching Service (Tasmanian Public Sector) Award 2005
* A current driver's licence
