to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in drafting and design, experience with architectural plans, and a deep understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction processes.
As part of a collaborative team, you will work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to create detailed, accurate, and high-quality drawings for various architectural projects.

* Qualification in Architectural Drafting / Building Design (Cert IV, Diploma or higher) or equivalent industry experience.
* 3+ years of experience in residential documentation and Revit-based drafting (AU project experience preferred).
* Prefab/modular exposure (panelised systems, light gauge steel or timber framing) preferred.
* Construction/onsite/CA experience beneficial but not required.
Technical Capability
* NCC (Housing) compliance documentation: working knowledge of typical residential requirements and ability to document accordingly (e.g., weatherproofing, condensation management, energy efficiency (NatHERS/NCC), BAL, accessibility/livable housing requirements.
* DFMA mindset: ability to detail with fabrication and installation in mind—interfaces, tolerances, sequencing, transport/handling constraints, and repeatable standard details.
3D Modelling & 2D Documentation
* Strong Revit skills for accurate modelling and high-quality construction documentation (plans/sections/details, schedules, tags, sheet standards).
* Ability to produce and maintain clear, buildable details aligned with Australian documentation conventions (AS 1100 awareness preferred).
Software
* Revit (essential), Bluebeam (markup/coordination), AutoCAD (helpful).
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Senior Drafter to develop prefab-optimised Revit models and documentation packages, ensuring consistency and buildability.
* Produce and refine construction details, typical details and drawing sets, with emphasis on panel interfaces, weatherproofing, and installation logic.
* Coordinate consultant inputs (structural, services, energy/BAL where applicable), manage markups and revisions, and maintain drawing registers.
* Work with the internal team to review / coordinate factory shop drawings and resolve RFIs/clarifications to support manufacturing and on-site assembly.
* Contribute to standard detail libraries, Revit templates/families, and documentation QA (sheet standards, numbering, cross-references, revision control).
Nice to Have
* Experience with light gauge steel/timber framing detailing.
* Familiarity with prefab manufacturing constraints and site installation sequencing.
* Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.
