ABOUT THE ROLE
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Senior Landscape Architect to join a highly respected design studio. Working within an experienced and collaborative team, you will take a leading role in the design and delivery of complex landscape projects from early concept through to delivery.
This role will suit a motivated designer who enjoys balancing strong conceptual thinking with project leadership responsibilities, while guiding junior staff and maintaining close relationships with clients.
DUTIES
* Lead the development of landscape design concepts and communicate ideas clearly to clients and project teams
* Manage projects through design development, documentation and delivery phases
* Coordinate internal design teams and guide day-to-day project activities
* Prepare and review design documentation including drawings, reports and specifications
* Work closely with project leaders to ensure design intent is carried through all stages of delivery
* Maintain project timelines, budgets and quality standards
* Facilitate effective collaboration with clients, consultants and stakeholders
* Mentor junior designers and contribute to maintaining high design standards across the team
* Monitor project progress and maintain accurate records of key decisions and actions
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
* Degree qualification in Landscape Architecture (Bachelor's or Master's)
* Approximately 5+ years of professional landscape architecture experience
* Strong design capability with the ability to develop ideas from concept through to delivery
* Experience coordinating multidisciplinary project teams
* Excellent written, visual and verbal communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple project responsibilities within deadlines
* Proficiency in design and documentation software such as Rhino, Revit and related tools
* Interest in environmentally responsible and sustainable design approaches
