You will be responsible for handling a wide range of accounting tasks, from financial reporting to tax compliance.
Given our developing nature, you will be the sole accountant on our team, requiring versatility and a proactive approach to problem-solving.KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Financial ReportingPrepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.Support Senior Management team.Prepare forecasts and budgets.Review projects on Salesforce.Ensure compliance with Vietnamese and Australian accounting standards and regulations.Supporting with project budgets and accounting.Assist in the preparation of annual financial audits.Accounts Payable/ReceivableProcess accounts payable and receivable transactions, including vendor invoices, customer invoices, and bank reconciliations.Maintain accurate records and ensure timely payments and collections.General Ledger Maintenance.Record journal entries for various transactions, including revenue, expenses, and adjustments.Reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.Tax CompliancePrepare corporate tax returns and other tax filings.Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.SPECIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/APTITUDES NEEDED:Part-qualified or fully qualified accountantMinimum of 5 years of experience in general accountingStrong knowledge of Vietnamese and Australian accounting standards and regulationsProficiency in accounting software – MISA onlineExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsFluency in English (written and spoken)Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneouslySALARY AND BENEFITS:Competitive SalaryAnnual Discretionary Company Bonus – up to 8% - 3% Company & 5% IndividualYou will accrue up to four (4) weeks of annual leave each year in accordance with the Fair Work Act (pro rata for part time employees)Working hours will be from ***** to ***** with an hour taken for lunch usually between ***** and ***** (Working hours will vary depending on the client and relevant time zonesInterstate travel will be required for this role
