Your responsibilities will include Acting as the Network Security Subject Matter Expert (SME) within project teams, driving best-practice security outcomes and providing expert guidance Ensuring projects achieve full compliance with cyber security standards and regulatory requirements Collaborating with third-party vendors to deliver secure, high-quality solutions that meet agreed commitments Developing and implementing robust network security policies and controls to safeguard availability, integrity, and confidentiality Aligning solutions with Telco Authority requirements to optimise security and performance Providing critical operational escalation support to the Network Operations Centre and Security Operations team to maintain resilience Travelling to various Data Centres, project dependent For more information on the role and its accountabilities, click here to view the role description. To be successful in this role you will Demonstrate Essential Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and retain minimum Baseline Security clearance within six months to work with sensitive government and critical communications information Design Secure and Scalable Networks: You will lead the design and implementation of resilient, high-performance networks that support critical government infrastructure and applications, leveraging technologies such as routing, switching, next-generation firewalls, NAC, public cloud, and ADC Communicate with Impact: You will use outstanding communication skills to confidently engage with stakeholders at all levels, influencing decisions and building strong relationships Produce High-Quality Documentation: You will deliver accurate design and as-built documentation, including up-to-date network diagrams, ensuring clarity and compliance Shape Technology Roadmaps: You will develop forward-looking technology roadmaps that align with organisational goals and drive strategic outcomes Stay Ahead of the Curve: You will maintain current knowledge of ICT, cyber security, and cyber risk trends, supported by relevant industry certifications to ensure best practice and innovation What we need from you When applying for this role, please include a resume and a covering letter.
