One of Australia's most active Data and AI consulting practices is hiring a Solutions Architect with deep AWS and Bedrock experience. The team delivers enterprise-scale cloud and AI transformation across financial services, government, and retail, with Amazon Bedrock and GenAI embedded into their client solutions as standard.
The role
You will own AWS and Bedrock architecture end-to-end across major enterprise engagements, from design through to production. Beyond the build, you will engage with senior client stakeholders, contribute to presales conversations, and help shape technical direction for the practice.
What you will be doing
* Designing and implementing cloud-native data architectures on AWS across S3, Redshift, Glue, Lake Formation, Kinesis, and Bedrock
* Architecting generative AI solutions including RAG pipelines, Bedrock Agents, Knowledge Bases, and agent-based workflows
* Providing technical leadership to delivery teams on AWS best practices and AI/ML design patterns
* Engaging with senior client stakeholders to shape requirements and present solutions
* Contributing to proposals and presales conversations alongside senior practice leadership
What you will bring
* Deep hands-on AWS architecture experience across compute, storage, networking, and data services
* Proven Bedrock delivery experience including RAG pipelines, Knowledge Bases, Bedrock Agents, and Guardrails
* Strong data platform background across Redshift, Glue, Lake Formation, and modern tooling such as dbt, Airflow, and Kafka
* Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CDK, CloudFormation) and CI/CD
* Comfortable in client-facing or consulting environments, presenting architecture to executive stakeholders
* Australian citizenship or permanent residency required
