We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Lead to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) team in New South Wales.
About The Role
The Safeguards Team is a pioneering initiative aimed at providing cutting-edge, evidence-based care to children and adolescents aged 0-18 experiencing acute mental health distress.
As a Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical leadership to CAMHS clinicians across NNSW LHD, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.
You will also be part of a dynamic team providing clinical psychology services within the Safeguard Service, which focuses on delivering rapid, mobile, intensive, and flexible short-term interventions to resolve mental health crises in both community and acute settings.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide strategic clinical leadership to CAMHS clinicians, promoting best practice care and driving innovation.
2. Develop and implement evidence-based programs to address the mental health needs of children and adolescents.
3. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care plans, prioritizing patient outcomes and well-being.
4. Mentor and supervise junior clinicians, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
5. Stay up-to-date with the latest research and trends in child and adolescent mental health, applying this knowledge to inform practice and policy.
