Job Title: Senior Project Engineer
This role focuses on delivering high-quality projects within the client's Capital Budget, working in a Tier 1 mining environment in NSW.
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Project Engineer to lead and manage Structural, Mechanical, and Piping (SMP) engineering efforts from project initiation to close-out. The successful candidate will ensure that projects meet stakeholder requirements and adhere to scope, quality, schedule, and budget constraints.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage SMP engineering efforts
* Ensure projects meet stakeholder requirements
* Collaborate with Project Supervision and Engineering teams
* Conduct Project Assurance reviews
* Implement Value Engineering
* Demonstrate strong safety leadership
* Track and report project performance
* Manage Construction Verification and handle change management processes
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Process, Mechanical, Civil/Structural, or related field)
Over 10 years of senior project engineering experience in Resources or Heavy Industries
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project controls software (e.g., SAP, MS Project, Primavera)
