About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Commercial Manager to lead and manage all commercial aspects of our infrastructure projects across NSW. Based in Sydney, you'll play a key role in overseeing bids, tenders, procurement, and transactions, ensuring effective commercial governance and risk management throughout the project lifecycle.
This is a senior role suited to someone who thrives in high-performance environments and has a proven track record in the civil infrastructure sector ideally in transport, roads, rail, utilities, or major public works.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and coordinate bid strategies, commercial submissions, and contract negotiations.
* Oversee procurement planning, subcontractor engagement, and cost control strategies.
* Drive commercial reporting, performance monitoring, and risk mitigation across multiple projects.
* Support business development through commercial insights and client engagement.
* Ensure compliance with legal, financial, and contractual obligations.
About You
* 10+ years' experience in a commercial management role, ideally in civil infrastructure.
* Proven experience managing major tenders, contracts, and project delivery models (e.g., D&C, PPP).
* Strong financial acumen, negotiation skills, and stakeholder management expertise.
* Able to lead multidisciplinary teams and work closely with legal, technical, and delivery teams.
* Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or similar.
