We are seeking to establish a pool of Technologies Teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the **** school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role
Eaton CC is seeking passionate and dedicated relationship focussed educators to join our Technologies Teacher Pool. We welcome applicants with strengths in one or more of the following areas :
Materials Technologies – Wood
Materials Technologies – Metal
Food Specialisation
Food & Fibre – Caring for Children
Applicants should be innovative practitioners who work well in collaborative teams and provide students with purposeful, engaging learning experiences that build practical skills, knowledge and an appreciation of Technologies.
Suitable applicants will ideally be able to design and deliver high-quality teaching and learning programs that meet the diverse needs of students from Years 7 to 12. Strong knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum, experience with Senior Secondary courses, and holding a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment are highly desirable.
Suitableapplicants would build respectful, positive relationshipswith students, creating learning environments where every student feels valued, supported and capable of achieving success. They will ideally design engaging, hands-on learning opportunitiesthat ignite curiosity, promote problem-solving, and enable students to thrive in both practical and theoretical aspects of Technologies.

Teachers and School Administrators employed at Eaton Community College) in **** are eligible to receive a temporary of $***** (pa, gross – to be adjusted pro rata for FTE and tenure).Eligible staff will receive a percentage of this payment on commencement at the school, with the remainder paid at the end of the school year.Staff must remain employed in the location until the end of the school year to be eligible to receive the second payment.
The temporary ARI payment is in addition to other incentives that may apply in this school.

Mobility appointments for permanent metropolitan and south westteachers
Eligible permanent teachers who hold a substantive teaching position in a North or South Education Region school, or a South WestEducation Region school
may elect to undertake this role as a 3-year mobility appointment, with a right of return to their substantive position. At the cessation of the 3-year mobility appointment, teachers can elect to return to their substantive role, or transfer permanently into this school.
Note that south westteachers are not eligible to move to another south west school under this trial.
