Since our inception in 1985, we have been a major supplier of temporary / permanent recruitment and related services to a vast range of South Australian clients, including significant experience with Local and State Government entities. 
We are seeking an experienced Communications Officer to work in a Local Government Department. 
To be considered for this temporary positions, you will be enthusiastic, experienced in your field (more than 3+ years), professional and a passion for communications. 
You will be proactive and be able to demonstrate positive initiative and enjoy working both collaboratively and autonomously with key stakeholders. Some of our projects include; 
- Develop creative content and communication for digital and print channels that is accurate, informative and timely, to tailored audiences including media, to build awareness, trust and connection to our community and other stakeholders. 
- Community management on social media 
- Review and update content on Council’s website. 
- Coordinating internal or external e-newsletter 
- Lead or support on team projects. 
- Marketing and communications administration such as booking adverts, direct mail, reviewing templates etc 
Knowledge, skills and experience 
- Superior written and verbal communication skills and ability to create engaging content for different audiences and stakeholders. 
- Experience in managing and monitoring digital platforms. 
- Highly effective relationship management skills and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and effectively 
- Experience in developing content for various channels, including interviewing talent. 
- Experience in social media and website management 
- Self-driven with highly developed planning, organisational and prioritisation skills.
