The Opportunity

We're searching for a part‐time casual Restaurant Sales and Event Executive to join our team at renowned Gold Coast Restaurant, Edgewater Dining. Working closely with the restaurant Management Team, you will assist with managing incoming inquiries, Sales and Business Development and coordinate our busy Events calendar.
Key Responsibilities
* Responding to all reservation and event enquiries
* Drive restaurant sales by identifying and targeting potential clients for private events, corporate gatherings, and celebrations.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to create enticing promotions and marketing materials for private dining experiences.
* Work with suppliers on the supply of event services and/or products
* Assist the venue with general administration tasks and ordering of administration items
* Managing the online booking system in conjunction with the restaurant management team to ensure booking opportunities are maximized at all times
* Manage the end‐to‐end planning and execution of private events, including weddings, parties, and corporate functions.
* Work closely with the restaurant management team to align events with the overall brand and ambiance of the establishment.
* Collaborate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth event operations and exceptional guest experiences
About you
* Proven experience in sales and event coordination, preferably in the hospitality industry.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
* Familiarity with food and beverage operations.
* A passion for creating exceptional guest experiences.
