Our customer is looking for an experienced Field Manager to lead an important survey project that will run between February and June 2026.

About the Role:
The Local Field Manager (LFM) will be the primary point of contact for all field operations in Australia. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and hands-on experience in managing large-scale surveys in both urban and rural areas. The LFM will ensure smooth implementation of the survey, coordinate field teams, and maintain high data quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Field Team Supervision
o Organize, and manage enumerators and supervisors for listing and interviewing activities.
o Ensure teams are adequately trained and equipped for fieldwork (our customer will provide in-person training, but the LFM is expected to collaborate and facilitate the process).
2. Operational Planning and Coordination
o Develop detailed fieldwork plans based on the sample of worksites provided by the employer (per location)
o Coordinate logistics, including transportation, accommodation, travel allowances, field supplies.
3. Quality Control and Data Integrity
o Monitor data collection in real time, ensuring adherence to protocols and high-quality standards.
o Implement corrective actions promptly when issues arise.
4. Employers Engagement and Problem-Solving
o Liaise with employers and workers team leaders to facilitate access and smooth operations if needed.
o Resolve operational challenges in the field, including technical issues.
5. Reporting and Communication
o Provide regular progress updates to our customers headquarters.
o Maintain clear communication channels with supervisors and project management.
6. Compliance and Ethical Standards
o Ensure all field activities comply with ethical guidelines, confidentiality requirements, and safety protocols.
