Salary: Circa $260K including overtime + 13% super + LAFHA allowance
Our South Australian Delivery team delivers critical electrical infrastructure projects across the state. As a Civil Construction Manager, you will lead the planning and delivery of major civil and earthworks scopes across substations, transmission lines and renewable energy developments. You will lead experienced crews and subcontractors to safely deliver complex construction projects, ensuring work is completed on time, on budget and to the highest safety standards.
Responsibilities
* Lead civil construction teams and subcontractors on major infrastructure projects
* Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and cost‐effectively
* Drive the planning and coordination of construction activities, resources and schedules
* Manage budgets, forecasting and commercial performance
* Oversee site operations and ensure quality delivery of civil works
* Contribute to project planning, estimating, bidding and program development
Qualifications & Experience
* Extensive experience managing major earthworks and civil construction on electrical infrastructure or similar large‐scale projects
* Strong experience leading crews and managing subcontractors on construction sites
* Demonstrated capability managing project budgets, commercial performance and delivery outcomes
* Experience with civil scope development, tendering, estimating & bidding and program planning
* A Civil Engineering background or related tertiary qualifications are desirable
The role is based at Direk, with project work across metro Adelaide and regional South Australia. The typical roster is 10 days on / 4 days off, working 11‐hour days, with double‐time overtime and travel allowances. Flexibility to travel and stay away when required is essential. This role will be offered on a 24‐month term contract.
