About the Role We have been exclusively engaged to recruit a Payroll Manager to take ownership of our end-to-end payroll operations across Australia.
Reporting into the Head of Payroll, you'll lead a team of four and work closely with HR and Finance to deliver accurate, compliant, and efficient payroll services.
You'll also play a key role in driving automation, improving systems, and helping to create a true centre of excellence for payroll.

What You'll Be Doing Lead and mentor a payroll team Oversee accurate and timely payroll across multiple states and Awards/EBAs.
Ensure full compliance with PAYG, Superannuation, Payroll Tax, FBT, and ATO requirements.
Manage payroll tax, workers' comp, group tax, and end-of-month reporting.
Drive continuous improvement through automation, system upgrades, and process digitisation.
Collaborate with HR and Finance to deliver better reporting and workforce insights.
Build strong relationships across the business and lead by example.
About You You're an experienced payroll leader who's just as comfortable managing a team as you are diving into the detail.
You bring energy, initiative, and a solutions-focused mindset, and you're passionate about delivering a great experience for your people and the business.
You'll bring: Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and compliance (PAYG, Super, FBT, etc.) Proven experience leading a payroll team in a complex, fast-paced environment Hands-on experience with SAP an advantage Solid understanding of Awards/EBAs and payroll reporting processes Great communication and stakeholder management skills A collaborative, proactive, and can-do attitude Media industry exposure is a plus For further information, please reach out to Niall Hoolahan via
