About The Role
Reporting to the Supervisor of the Fixed Plant Mechanical, your role will be a combination of underground and surface fixed plant mechanical work.
You will be involved in executing planned and unplanned maintenance tasks, as well as helping to ensure any plant downtime issues are escalated and actioned effectively.
Please note this position is based at Leinster, operating on a 7 days on / 7 off roster, FIFO from Perth with residential options available.
In This Role You Will
Promote and consistently follow the standards and procedures designed to enable you to work safely and effectively every day
Assist with any planned maintenance and complete tasks in a timely manner
Provide mechanical trade skills to perform unplanned or breakdown maintenance on Fixed Plant
Work with your team to a high level of accountability and be able to build productive team relationships
Provide Feedback to the Maintenance Supervisors on job progress
About You
Willingness and capacity to work underground and surface based
Proven commitment to look after your own wellbeing and the confidence to speak up when others put themselves in harm's way
Mechanical trade qualifications (Australian Recognised) combined with experience in Fixed Plant
Underground fixed plant experience highly regarded
MHS, primary dewatering and ventilation experience highly regarded
Experience on winders and headframes a bonus
SAP/Fiori experience beneficial
Rigger, Dogger, Crane, Forklift and Bridge & Gantry tickets also advantageous
Solid time management skills and ability to prioritise
A proactive team player who is also self-motivated and able to work effectively unsupervised
