Pinctada Hotel is a member of the Paspaley Pearls Group, which was founded in 1952, and is now a diverse assembly of companies. Whilst Paspaley core business is in pearling, including pearl production, wholesale, and retail, it also has extensive involvement and interests in engineering, aviation, agriculture, hospitality and resort accommodation businesses and commercial property. A unique opportunity exists for an experienced and passionate housekeeping supervisor at the Pinctada Hotel, just minutes from the turquoise waters and white sands of famous Cable Beach.
The hotel's in one of WA's most iconic tourist towns is surrounded by the tranquillity of tropical gardens and captures the essence of Broome with its stunning design and luxury facilities. Housekeeping Supervisor Role: Responsible for assisting the Housekeeping Manager overseeing all of housekeeping operations within the hotel, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, organisation, and guest satisfaction are maintained throughout the property.
This role plays a critical part in creating a comfortable, safe and welcoming environment for guests, as well as ensuring the efficient management of the housekeeping department. The Housekeeping Supervisor will manage the housekeeping department in the absence of the Manager.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the Housekeeping Manager in all aspects of the operation. Oversee daily staffing requirements, schedules and assignments, ensuring adequate coverage and operational efficiency. Foster a culture of teamwork, respect and accountability among all staff.
* Establish and maintain cleanliness standards in guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house areas, all facilities and public areas. Regularly inspect guest rooms, public areas and facilities to ensure adherence to cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards. Ensure all housekeeping tasks are completed to the highest level of detail.
* Oversee inventory and ordering of cleaning supplies, linen, and guest room amenities. Ensure every team member can sell hotel facilities and is aware of any special promotions. Consistently deliver a product and service to meet the quality, standards and expectations of guests whilst delivering the promises made by the Sales Team.
* Work closely with other departments (e.g., Front desk, maintenance, food & beverage) to ensure smooth operations and address any cross-departmental issues. Coordinate room inspections and deep cleaning schedules to minimise disruption to guests.
