This position qualifies for an annual Recruitment Incentive Package up to the value of $10,000 (conditions apply and may be pro-rated to your contracted or ordinary working hours; payments are made fortnightly) under the NSW Health Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme.
The scheme recognises the key role health workers play in enabling the delivery of rural and remote health services, and aims to provide incentives over and above award entitlements to attract and retain staff in these areas.

What You'll Be Doing
Assess, plan, develop, implement and evaluate clinical education programmes to support ongoing professional clinical development of nursing and midwifery staff working in the speciality of critical care, maintaining quality care outcomes for patients and clients.
As a Nurse Educator you will be highly valued and vital to ensuring our patients receive exceptional levels of care by advancing the skills of our staff.
Your ideal candidate will have extensive clinical experience and tertiary qualifications in education and training.

How To Apply
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria in the application as thoroughly as possible:
Current nursing/midwifery registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with 3 years' experience in Critical Care.
Current Certificate as a Workplace Trainer and Assessor (currently Certificate IV) or willingness to work towards and attain within 12 months.
Current Critical Care Post Graduate Qualification or willingness to attain within 24 months.
Willingness to provide mandatory education and training within Critical Care and other specialty areas.
Credentialed as an Advanced Life Support Instructor and in Triage, or willingness to obtain within 12 months.
Evidence of participation in own professional development and commitment to maintaining competence and enhancement of skills as a Registered Nurse.
Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication, advanced computer skills and use of software programs to develop and deliver education.
Eligibility to drive in NSW and preparedness to travel across rural and remote areas.
