About the Role:
The Intensive Care/Coronary Care Unit Technical Officer (TO), in conjunction with the Assistant Director of Nursing (ICU/CCU ADON), oversees stores and equipment management within ICU and Cardiology. The TO is responsible for the direction, co-ordination and procurement of equipment used in ICU and Cardiology to enable effective efficient and high-quality care to patients. The TO role provides technical support and acts as a resource within the critical care environment to effectively and efficiently manage, utilise and/or procure resources through cost centre monitoring, stock control and strategic planning to enable effective and efficient, high-quality care to patients.
