Deliver exceptional mental health services including the provision of Torture and Trauma Counselling services to clients as an integral part of a dynamic team.
The Role
The Mental Health Nurse & Torture and Trauma Counsellor will deliver high-quality mental health care with the provision of Torture and Trauma Counselling in a clinical setting. Key Tasks:
* Deliver comprehensive mental health care tailored to client needs
* Provide Torture and Trauma counselling consultations as required
* Initiate appropriate treatment and referrals during emergency situations
* Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring holistic care
* Administer medications as prescribed and/or in accordance
* Conduct health programs designed to improve mental wellness

Requirements
* Full working rights in Australia
* Current AHPRA registration as a Div. 1 Registered Nurse
* Minimum of 3 years post graduate experience
* Proven experience with clinical coordination/case management and risk assessment within the mental health environment
* Relevant experience in Torture and Trauma Counselling
* Current First Aid / BLS certificate (or willingness to obtain)
* Current Federal Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
