* Systems Architecture Analysis and Design: Analyse, design, and evaluate complex system architecture, network topology, and integration requirements for enterprise ICT environments, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with organisational objectives.
* Network and Systems Planning and Optimisation: Plan, develop, deploy, and optimise network and systems infrastructure, including hardware and software components, to ensure high availability, performance, and business continuity across multiple platforms.
* Network Performance Monitoring and Analysis: Research, monitor, and assess network infrastructure performance, including bandwidth usage, latency, capacity, and traffic patterns, to identify risks and optimise system efficiency.
* Systems Installation and Configuration: Install, configure, test, and maintain network devices, servers, operating systems, cloud environments, and enterprise applications, ensuring systems are deployed in accordance with technical and security standards.
* Technical Support and Incident Resolution: Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for complex network and systems issues, diagnosing root causes, resolving incidents, and restoring services within required timeframes.
* Systems Maintenance and Upgrade Management: Manage configuration, integration, upgrades, and patching of hardware, software, and network systems across heterogeneous (multi-platform) environments, including Windows and Linux-based systems.
* Network Security Management: Implement and maintain network security controls such as firewalls, access control mechanisms, encryption protocols, and monitoring tools to safeguard organisational data and infrastructure.
* Network Configuration and Automation Development: Develop, implement, and support network configurations, scripts, and automation solutions to improve system efficiency and meet evolving business requirements.
* Change Management and Operational Readiness: Ensure operational readiness of network and system services by supporting change management processes, testing system changes, and minimising downtime during deployments.
* Technical Documentation and Reporting: Prepare, maintain, and update detailed technical documentation, including network diagrams, system configurations, operating procedures, and incident and resolution reports.
* Infrastructure Upgrades and Integration: Coordinate and support system upgrades, infrastructure enhancements, migrations, and integration of new technologies into existing ICT environments with minimal disruption.
* System and Network Monitoring: Continuously monitor system performance, network health, security events, and service availability to ensure compliance with service levels and business continuity requirements.
