Reporting to the General Manager, working Monday to Friday, we are looking for self-motivated, reliable, punctual Leading Hand.
Duties and Responsibilities
Studying drawings and specifications to determine materials required, dimensions and installation procedures
Supervision of a small crew of labourers and/or concreters
Safe operation of power and hand tools
Maintain a clean and safe workspace, and abide by workplace health and safety policies and procedures
Other tasks as directed
Skills and Experience
Previous concreting experience in the construction industry
Previous experience and comfortable understanding plans
Previous experience working with power and hand tools
Competent with completing basic to intermediate math equations
Excellent verbal and written communication
Organised and able to meet deadlines
Previous experience as a leading hand concreter
Adept with iPad/iPhone &pc skills
