Wongaburra Society Aged Care Services is currently seeking a full time Remedial Massage Therapist to make a positive impact on both aged and disabled residents within our local community.
The position involves working as part of our developing wellness centre, consisting of an Allied Healthcare team to ensure our residents receive remedial therapies to treat chronic pain, muscle, rehabilitation and flexibility issues.
The position is permanent and the successful applicant will further need to demonstrate the ability to lead and train lesser experienced local therapists in the future.

Role Summary:
Position: Remedial Massage Therapist
Type: Full Time
Salary: $75,000 to $85,000
Key Responsibilities:
Work under the direction / supervision of the Physiotherapist
Initial consultations and assessments within a developing Wellness Centre
Develop and implement tailored treatment plans in consultation with other allied health professionals
Provide Remedial Massage Therapy for chronic muscle pain, tendon, mobility, flexibility and rehabilitation issues
Educate residents and create preventative programs relating to stretching, strengthening, mobility and release techniques
Contribute to the Wellness Centre development and assist in the training of other lesser-experienced remedial therapists
Experience in areas of Myotherapy is an advantage
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Diploma or Advanced Diploma Qualified in Remedial Massage Therapy
Two years' relevant experience in Remedial Massage Therapy
Current First Aid and CPR certification
Strong understanding of human anatomy, physiology and biomechanics
