This Federal Government agency is seeking a dynamic and experienced **Assistant Director, Social Media** to lead their social media communications and contribute to the strategic direction of our organisation. **Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with organisational goals.
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the social media team, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to team members.
- Create and oversee engaging, high-quality digital content tailored to a variety of audiences and platforms.
- Monitor and analyse social media trends, providing insights and recommendations to improve performance.
- Use analytics tools to evaluate the impact of social media campaigns, ensuring alignment with key objectives.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver cohesive and impactful digital communications.
- Ensure all social media content complies with legislative, policy, and regulatory frameworks.
- Identify opportunities for innovation in social media communication, staying ahead of emerging trends and technologies.

- A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the initiative to identify and implement creative solutions.
- A degree in communications, marketing, or a related field, or significant experience in a digital/social media communications role.
