Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking to appoint a Demand Planner to join our Category Planning team. This opportunity will suit someone who thrives on data, collaboration, and driving results. Reporting into the Demand Planning Manager, the Demand Planner will partner cross-functionally with Buying and Supply Planning teams, along with suppliers on go-to-market plans and forecasting stock. The successful applicant will:
* Be the go-to expert for the assigned product categories, blending historical data with market insights to forecast demand.
* Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure inventory is where it needs to be — when it needs to be.
* Drive the S&OP/IBP process, contributing to strategic planning and performance reporting.
* Champion continuous improvement in demand planning tools and systems.
* Lead SKU lifecycle management, promotional planning, and clearance strategies.
Who are we looking for?
The successful candidate will possess the following key skills and experience.
* A tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Business, or similar
* Experience in Demand or Supply Planning, ideally within the Healthcare industry or FMCG sector.
* A sharp eye for detail, strong communication skills, and proficiency working in Excel and other forecasting tools (such as SAP APO/IBP experience).
* A collaborative spirit and a calm, adaptable approach under pressure.
