This is a challenging role that involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of a power generation facility. Reporting to the Station Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring optimal plant performance, safety compliance, and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the Operations team to achieve operational excellence.
* Oversee all aspects of plant operations, including planning, execution, and recovery processes.
* Drive efficiency improvements and plant performance optimisation through data analysis and process improvement initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory, environmental, and health & safety standards.
* Collaborate with other teams to deliver seamless and reliable power generation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering, or a related field.
* Significant previous experience within the Power generation industry.
* Deep technical understanding of thermal power generation processes and systems.
* Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing multidisciplinary teams.
* Excellent knowledge of operational safety, environmental, and compliance standards.
