The Cottesloe Beach Hotel has an opportunity for someone to lead the administration side of our multi-faceted venue. Our **Guest Service Agent - Hotel Receptionist** is a key player in our dynamic and hard-working team and ensures the smooth running of the front office, housekeeping, reservations, group bookings and assisting the General Manager in daily administration.
This role is perfect for someone who wants to develop their career in the hospitality industry, specialising in hotel and events back of house operations or someone who wants to further their administration skills. **Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Effective coordination of all guest arrivals and departures to achieve a reputation as a market leader in the industry
- Responding to guest feedback in an efficient and proactive manner and implementing changes to prevent re-occurrence
- Effectively communicating with all departments of the hotel to ensure customer satisfaction is consistently achieved
- Managing customer relations to deliver truly memorable experiences for our guests
- End Of Week reporting
- Managing group reservations, ability to allocate them accordingly and organise catering, working closely with the kitchen and operations teams
- Assisting the General Manager in daily administration tasks as required
- Previous experience in a similar environment and similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of hotel reception standards and procedures
- Authentic customer service, interpersonal & communication skills
- Impeccable grooming and presentation
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite of products
- Experience with CMS is desirable
