Our client is a leading global trustee, seeking a candidate with experience within the corporate trust, securitisation, or structured finance industries.
The key purpose of this role lies in supporting the operational functions of their Debt & Securitisation division, encompassing onboarding, client management, and deal transactional support. Primary functions will pertain to deal administration and client relationship management, with some tangential duties related to process improvement, stakeholder management, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviewing deal transaction documents to ensure they comply with internal operational requirements.
- Co-ordinating new bond issuances into the primary market.
- Managing bond payment obligations and deal cash flows per deal requirements.
- Monitoring compliance with deal requirements.
- Calculating interest amounts and performing interest rate resets.
- Set up and maintaining bond registers.
- Executing bond transfers as requested by investors.
- Daily client service and relationship management.
- Assist in the company's new client on-boarding process by performing KYC and reviewing new deal documentation as required.
- Drive results from active involvement in ad hoc projects and tasks allocated by management from time to time.
- Make recommendations for improvements in procedures and maintain procedure documentation.
- Administration of records and files for efficient operation, including ensuring that filing is in accordance with established procedures, and up to date.
- Participate in broader business projects as required.
- Establish effective relationships and regular contact with key internal stakeholders.
- Compliance with relevant legislation as directed.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's degree with at least 8 years of relevant Corporate Trust or other financial services industry experience. Experience with servicing the securitisation, debt capital and syndicated loan markets from a trustee and agency perspective would be especially well-regarded.
- Being numerate, having good attention to detail, being able to organise time to complete required tasks, being client-focused and having a positive can-do attitude are essential for this role.
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly spreadsheets. Experience with the drafting and running of financial models would be well-regarded.
- Ability to work with team members located in various geographic locations.
- Good written and verbal communication skills with a commitment to ensuring a positive, calm, respectful and harmonious workplace.
- Good mathematical abilities would be essential to be successful in this role.
