The Role
We're looking for a Project Administrator to join our new core retail platform program. This is a unique fixed-term opportunity to provide critical support to a large-scale business and technology transformation project.
* You'll work closely with the Programme Manager and various stream leads to establish and maintain the project schedule, manage reporting, and ensure project governance is upheld.
* You'll be a central point of coordination, driving process and ensuring our new platform is delivered successfully.
Your Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
1. Grow and maintain the master project schedule, monitoring the delivery roadmap and allocation of work and resources.
2. Manage project administration tasks, including assisting with financial record keeping and budget reporting.
3. Track and report on project progress against key milestones, clearly communicating any risks or deviations to the Programme Manager.
4. Prepare high-quality slide packs and reports for senior stakeholders to facilitate decision-making.
5. Champion project governance and administration procedures, monitoring adherence to frameworks and identifying risks.
6. Onboard new contractors and internal employees, getting them up to speed on project schedules, processes, and workflow tools.
7. Create, maintain, and continuously improve documentation templates.
8. Act as a key advocate for the program framework, ensuring all team members are correctly updating tasks in our workflow tools.
Your Skills & Qualifications
We're looking for someone with:
* 5+ years of experience in a similar Project Administrator or Project Coordinator role.
* Experience supporting large-scale business and technology transformation projects.
* Significant scheduling experience, including managing schedules with hundreds or thousands of tasks across multiple streams.
* Advanced competency in Atlassian tools, specifically JIRA and Confluence, and their program/portfolio management plugins.
* Proven experience providing reporting and preparing presentations for senior stakeholders.
* Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
* Exceptional administration skills and a high attention to detail.
* Strong problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills.
* Experience with Google Workspace is preferred.
