Key Responsibilities:
We're seeking a Mechanical Engineer to play a key role in developing technologies for human life on Mars.
* Design and build flight hardware, such as propellant tanks, integration interfaces, primary structures, and structural subassemblies.
* Maintain vehicle structures based on flight loads and collaborate with peers to balance mass, cost, and capability in vehicle designs.
* Create detailed designs and generate CAD models for components, assemblies, and vehicle integration using NX software.
* Develop finite element models to assess designs and analyze structures for proof of concept.

Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
* 1+ years of experience designing, analyzing, or building structures (internship and school project experience qualify).

* Data-driven decision making.
* Experience working at a nimble engineering organization or in a highly technical position that required entrepreneurial manner to accomplish tasks with tight time constraints.
* Hardware development or contributing to a work product that operates in the real world.

* Leading or working on an engineering competition team.
