Project Leadership Role
This is a challenging leadership position that requires effective management of remediation projects, including blast and paint, concrete repair, and structural integrity from initial setup to completion.
The key responsibilities include:
* Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
* Effective cost control and efficient project execution
* Coordinating direct labour and subcontractors
* Reporting on project progress and conducting regular meetings
* Providing advice on technical and engineering issues
* Liaising closely with clients to ensure project adherence to schedule
* Participating in tendering and estimation processes
* Traveling to mine sites and supporting teams
* Managing client relationships and stakeholders
* Enhancing self-perform crews' efficiencies
* Oversight of multiple projects
* Creation and modification of ITPs and SWMS
* Issuing RFIs and tracking responses
Required skills and qualifications include:
* Positive front-line leadership experience
* Experience in mining, plant maintenance, and shutdowns
* Ability to coordinate and deliver complex shutdowns
* Strong program and planning skills
* Proficiency in managing budgets and controlling costs
* Exceptional stakeholder and subcontractor management skills
