About the role
F & B Group Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Italian Pizza Chef to join our team at Frankie B's Food House, Parramatta, NSW. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking authentic Italian pizzas to delight our customers.
What you'll be doing
1. Preparing and cooking a variety of traditional Italian pizzas using high-quality ingredients
2. Ensuring consistent and exceptional pizza quality by following recipes and presentation standards
3. Assisting with menu development and recommending new pizza ideas
4. Maintaining a clean and organised work environment in the kitchen
5. Providing excellent customer service and responding to any dietary requirements
6. Supporting the wider kitchen team as needed
What we're looking for
1. Demonstrated experience as an Italian Pizza Chef, with a strong understanding of traditional Italian pizza making techniques
2. Expertise in working with wood-fired ovens and pizza-making equipment
3. Excellent knife skills and ability to prepare a range of pizza toppings and sauces
4. Passion for using high-quality, fresh ingredients to create authentic Italian pizzas
5. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards
6. Positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team
7. Relevant food safety certifications and qualifications in commercial cookery
