An established brokerage on the Gold Coast is seeking a Commercial Insurance Broker to join their team in a hybrid production/leadership capacity.
This role offers the opportunity to manage a modest, established commercial portfolio while also playing a key role in mentoring and developing a small team of junior brokers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and service an existing commercial portfolio
* Build and grow the book through new business and cross‐selling opportunities
* Provide guidance, mentoring, and support to a team of junior/retail brokers
* Assist in developing team capability, processes, and client service standards
* Maintain strong insurer and client relationships
About You:
* Proven experience as a Commercial Insurance Broker
* Strong technical knowledge across general insurance products
* Excellent communication and relationship management skills
* Previous leadership experience or a genuine desire to step into a leadership role
* Ability to balance portfolio management with team development responsibilities
