About the role
Active Property Conveyancing is seeking a dedicated and organised Conveyancing Admin Assistant to join our team in Wollongong, NSW. In this full-time position, you will play a vital role in supporting our conveyancing solicitors and ensuring the smooth running of all administrative aspects of our property transactions.
What you'll be doing
* Preparing and processing conveyancing documentation, including contracts, transfer forms, and settlement statements
* Maintaining electronic and physical filing systems to keep client records organised and up-to-date
* Liaising with clients, solicitors, and other stakeholders to coordinate communication and information exchange
* Assisting with the preparation of settlement paperwork and ensuring timely lodgement of documents
* Providing general administrative support to the conveyancing team as required.
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in a conveyancing or legal administrative role
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
* Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a friendly and professional demeanour
* Proficient in using relevant software and technology, such as Microsoft Office and case management systems
* A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
