About the role We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and commercially sound estimates that support successful project delivery across a range of residential and commercial construction projects. You will manage the full estimating process-interpreting plans, reviewing documentation, liaising with stakeholders, and producing estimates that are competitive, compliant, and aligned to client expectations and regulatory requirements. Your expertise and attention to detail will directly contribute to our ability to secure projects, maintain strong client relationships, and deliver profitable outcomes. Key Responsibilities As the successful applicant, you will be responsible for: Prepare accurate, detailed estimates across residential and commercial projects, including quotes, variations, building reports, and settlement reviews. Interpret and review building documentation, including plans, engineering, and specifications. Ensure all estimates comply with QBCC/HBCF standards, building codes, and internal policies. Collaborate with clients, builders, subcontractors, and suppliers to clarify requirements and obtain competitive pricing. Maintain strong industry knowledge of construction methods, materials, and cost trends. Skills & experience Essential: Minimum 3 years' experience in estimation working across building and construction specifically. Experience coordinating trades, subcontractors, and suppliers. Proven understanding of WHS requirements and the ability to enforce safety standards. Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency in mobile technology, Google Suite, and digital reporting tools.
