Job Title: Cyber Security Expertise InstructorCyber security is an increasingly important aspect of our digital world. As a senior lecturer or associate professor in cyber security, you will play a crucial role at UNSW Canberra, contributing to the university's teaching, research, and administration.
Key Responsibilities:
Contribute to teaching, research, and administrative activities within the Canberra School of Professional Studies, applying strong technical expertise in cyber security and computer science.
Develop and deliver courses; supervise higher degree by research students; contribute to quality assurance and program review.
Engage with industry and professional bodies; support students; participate in other administrative duties aligned with school and faculty objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
A PhD in a related discipline, plus relevant work experience.
A good track record of research and publication and/or competitive research income in a chosen field.
Demonstrated expertise and currency in some of the listed technical aspects of cybersecurity.
Evidence of teaching and learning design, development, delivery, and pastoral care of students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels with positive evaluation.
