Your new role:
This role is well-suited to those at the point in their Project Management career journey, where they are looking to take on a role that will support growth, development and complex project exposure to enable you to become an industry-leading project manager.

As PM, you will support the successful delivery of complex defence projects through all phases-design, production, testing, and acceptance. You'll lead a multidisciplinary project controls team and ensure performance baselines are met across cost, schedule, and risk. Your responsibilities will include stakeholder engagement, contract and subcontractor management, reporting, and ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards. You'll also play a key role in driving continuous improvement and aligning project outcomes with strategic goals.


What you need to succeed:


* Australian Citizenship and ability to relocate to North NSW coast.
* Evidenced existing experience delivering high-value projects in the marine or defence sector
* Experience managing contracts and subcontractors, ideally with government or defence clients
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Project
* Familiarity with project controls, risk management, and stakeholder reporting
* Ability to obtain (or currently hold) a Baseline security clearance
* Desirable: formal training in project management or business administration, and knowledge of defence procurement processes
