A leading Australian contracting firm is currently seeking an experienced Plant & Equipment Coordinator / Workshop Supervisor to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing fleet maintenance, supervising the workshop team, maintaining asset registers, ensuring compliance, and preparing reports on fleet status and performance.
About the Role
* Manage Fleet Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance of company assets, including vehicles and equipment.
* Supervise Workshop Team: Lead and manage a team of technicians and mechanics to ensure efficient operations.
* Maintain Asset Registers: Accurately record and update asset information, including condition, usage, and maintenance history.
* Ensure Compliance: Verify that all equipment and vehicles meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
* Prepare Reports: Develop and submit regular reports on fleet status, performance, and any issues or concerns.
Key Skills and Qualifications
* Fleet Management Experience: Proven ability to manage and maintain large fleets of vehicles and equipment.
* Leadership and Supervisory Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in supervising teams.
* Asset Registration and Compliance: Knowledge of asset registration processes and ability to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
