Your Challenge:
Your challenge will be to solve key business challenges and drive us toward market leadership. This includes:
* Optimising Technology Integration: Aligning technology investments directly with core business objectives to maximise innovation and drive strategic growth.
* Elevating Operational Excellence: Continuously enhancing the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our IT infrastructure and digital processes to empower our workforce and streamline operations.
* Leveraging Technology for Market Leadership: Developing and deploying cutting-edge, customer-centric technology solutions that differentiate us in the market and meet evolving user needs (e.g., in Industry/Ag 4.0).
* Harnessing Data: Building robust frameworks for data governance, knowledge management, and cybersecurity to ensure data is secure, accessible, and effectively utilised for informed decision-making.
* Maximising Value and Minimising Risk: Strategically managing our IT budgets and vendor relationships while proactively mitigating technological risks to safeguard business continuity.
What Success Looks Like:
A successful CIO will ensure the organisation consistently leverages technology to achieve its strategic objectives. This role will ensure our IT systems are reliable, secure, and scalable, minimising downtime and supporting seamless operations. You will successfully deliver technology-driven solutions that directly address customer needs, leading to improved satisfaction and new revenue streams.
Key Experiences We're Looking For:
We're looking for a hands-on leader who has a proven track record in the following areas:
* Technology Strategy & Vision: You've created and managed an organisation's overall technology plan, ensuring all our systems (on-premise and in the cloud) work together to meet business goals.
* Digital Innovation: You have experience implementing new technologies like AI and automation to improve how the business operates and to create better experiences for all stakeholders.
* Product Development: You're familiar with the entire software development process, from a product's first idea to its launch and beyond, using modern approaches like Agile and DevOps.
* Data & Analytics: You know how to manage data effectively, making sure it is secure and can be used to provide insights that help with business decisions.
* Cybersecurity: You have a strong understanding of how to protect a company's data and systems from security threats, and you know what to do if an incident occurs.
* Leadership & Management: You have a history of successfully leading IT teams and can clearly explain technical concepts to anyone in the business, from the factory floor to the boardroom.
Experience in Manufacturing will be well regarded.
