You will drive performance through commercial planning, data-led insights and cross-functional collaboration. The Role: Lead the development of merchandise strategies, including forecasting sales, profit, inventory, and replenishment plans. Analyse performance data to drive decisions that optimise product mix, sell-through, and profitability. Mentor and guide a small team, building capability and embedding a culture of continuous improvement. Partner with Buying, Supply Chain, and key stakeholders to align planning strategies with overall business goals and customer trends. Oversee allocations, stock flow and reporting – continuously identifying ways to enhance processes. Dive deep into key metrics and trends, preparing reports and recommendations that inform business strategy. Monitor the market and competitors to identify category growth opportunities and shifts in consumer behaviour. To be successful in this role, you'll bring: 5 years of merchandise planning experience in a dynamic retail environment (homewares/fashion/apparel a plus!). Proven ability to drive commercial outcomes through sales and inventory planning. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn numbers into actionable insights. Confident working cross-functionally to influence stock flow, distribution and range planning. Experienced in forecasting, managing OTB, and driving margin and profitability. A strong leader and collaborator, capable of mentoring others and building strong relationships across the business.
