Heavy Vehicle Technician
Fitters are skilled professionals who install, inspect and maintain complex equipment. This role involves workshop installations, pre-delivery inspections and the fabrication and installation of subframes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Workshop installations and pre-delivery inspection duties for all new or used cranes and hook loaders
* Fabrication and installation of subframes from design to development and manufacture
* Installation of new cranes to industry standards
* Service duties of new and used vehicle loading cranes and hook loaders
This position requires a strong understanding of heavy vehicles and equipment. A Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical, Fabrication Trade, or equivalent is essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also necessary for success in this role.
