The opportunity
Working alongside our creative team of consultants and architects, we have a full-time opportunity for an experienced Team Leader Architect to join our Newcastle team. You will oversee Project Leaders and their teams, ensuring strategic alignment, operational excellence, and a culture of innovation, collaboration, and client focus. You will also:
* Lead coach and support Project Leaders and their teams
* Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture
* Oversee project resourcing, performance and delivery across multiple projects
* Manage budgeting and team allocation within Total Synergy
* Promote design excellence and encourage creative thinking across projects
* Drive continuous improvement in design and documentation standards
* Ensure team efforts align with firm goals and act as a liaison between project teams and leadership
Key Requirements
As a strategic leader who builds positive team spirit and drives results while empowering others to success through excellent coaching and mentoring, you will be a values driven professional who leads by example. You will also have:
* Extensive experience in architectural project delivery
* Australian Accredited Master of Architecture preferably with registration
* Strong strategic thinking and operational management skills
* Proven ability to lead and mentor emerging leaders
* Demonstrated experience leading a team and setting expectations
* High proficiency in Revit modelling with a high attention to detail
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making abilities
