About the Home
Ideal seaside living among an active local community, Ross Robertson Aged Care is positioned on the Fleurieu Peninsula in Victor Harbor. The home offers a balance of relaxation and opportunities to stay engaged in the local community.
The Opportunity
Are you passionate about aged care and nursing? We are actively seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team on a permanent part-time basis, with penalty rates in play. Shifts available range from AM, PM and ND over a 2-week rostered period. Successful candidates who are considering relocation from interstate or overseas may be eligible for short-term single accommodation near site. The Role
As a Registered Nurse, you'll provide a range of clinical care and support services for residents, assist them to experience a greater level of independence, and ensure their health and wellness are supported. These include:
* Providing and monitoring the care of residents
* Using a systematic approach to clinical decision-making
* Developing appropriate therapeutic and caring relationships
* Collaborating with the health care team to achieve resident outcomes
* Participating in the development of a supportive environment with the team
To be successful, you will have
* Relevant qualifications and AHPRA registration
* Minimum of 12 months experience as a Registered Nurse (desirable in-charge)
* Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
* Complete a police check
* 2025 Flu Vaccination (or willingness to obtain during flu season)
* Evidence of Covid-19 vaccination
* Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families and all levels of staff
* Strong passion for working with the elderly and dedication to professional growth
