Key Objectives and Major Responsibilities
* Design and architect end-to-end solutions using Duck Creek modules (Policy, Billing, Claims, Insights) for personal, commercial, or specialty lines.
* Provide guidance on high-level (HLD) and low-level designs (LLD), oversee development, and conduct design/code reviews.
* Maximize Duck Creek's native capabilities, limit customizations, and understand DCOD environments, Author, Server, Express, Forms, Rating, and Transact.
* Oversee API integrations, data models, events, and middleware solutions (e.g., XML, XSLT).
* Translate business needs into technical requirements, support digital transformation, and align solutions with business strategies.
* Define architectural standards, best practices, and contribute to product roadmaps.
* Act as a trusted advisor, participate in pre-sales, and present technical solutions to clients.
Qualification and Experience
* Experience: 10+ years in insurance, with significant hands-on Duck Creek implementation experience (Policy, Billing, Claims).
* Technical: Deep understanding of Duck Creek architecture (v11/v12), DCOD, APIs, data models, .NET, and integration patterns.
* Domain: Strong P&C insurance knowledge (underwriting, claims, billing workflows).
* Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile, SDLC, and CI/CD.
* Soft Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and customer-facing skills.
* Certifications: Duck Creek certifications are a plus.
