About the role
To provide accounting support to Financial Controller, Senior Accountants and other collaborators in a multi divisional structure, ensuring accounting needs and accurate reporting requirements are met. As an integral finance team member, proactively interact with other teams to ensure crucial outcomes for financial accuracy, efficiency and implementation of process improvement.
Responsibilities will include - Preparation of divisional, department and business results, ensuring integrity of financial results- Assist with interim & annual audit, as well as preparation of year-end statutory accounts- Analysis and commentary of variance to plan or forecast- Period completion of statistics surveys and other compliance related tasks- General ledger reconciliation and review- Assisting in process improvement and system enhancement initiatives
About You - A tertiary degree (with accounting) and part or fully qualified CPA or CA status.- Proven experience in the accounting industry- Solid understanding of core accounting principles and the application of the principles- Sound excel skills gained in a working environment- Experience with integrated finance and operations systems
