The Opportunity
At Infinite Care we pride ourselves on providing industry‐leading resident care and services that enable residents to remain independent. Our Personal Carer Workers (PCWs) support elderly residents, their families and colleagues 7 days a week across AM, PM and night shifts in a safety‐first workplace.
This role based at Edge Hill will work closely with the nursing, hospitality and resident engagement teams when performing resident‐centric care duties in a timely and compassionate manner, surrounded by highly skilled and supportive senior carers and managers.
Responsibilities
Provide compassionate, resident‐centric care on a shift‐driven schedule, including handovers and strict safety procedures, to prevent resident injury and maintain a high standard of workplace safety.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Ideally one year demonstrated working experience in the aged care sector
* Passion for making a difference and willingness to help deliver quality care every day
* Positive teamwork attitude, trusted co‐worker, excellent time management, and adherence to safety procedures
* Computer savvy, including use of emails, word processing and in‐house training platforms
* Excellent workplace safety awareness to protect residents from tripping, falling or other injuries
* Qualifications in Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) OR Diploma of Nursing with an aged care placement OR 2nd year nursing student with a placement
* Other Cert III courses in related healthcare studies are recognized, with required industry work placement to meet compliance standards
* Hold the NDIS Workers Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain it
