About Your Role
As a Health Information Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity and effective use of clinical information across Logan and Beaudesert Hospitals and community health services.
In This Role, You Will
* Manage and improve clinical data quality, health records and clinical forms (electronic and paper)
* Complete medical record audits, system reviews and business process redesign initiatives
* Support mandatory data reporting and resolve data discrepancies across hospital information systems
* Provide high-level support for HBCIS and related clinical and corporate information systems
* Assist with monitoring trends and analysing data to support service delivery, planning and Activity Based Funding (ABF)
About You
You are a detail-driven and collaborative professional who understands the importance of high-quality clinical information in delivering safe, effective healthcare.
You Will Bring
* Experience in health information, data quality or clinical records management
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
* High-level communication skills, with the ability to engage respectfully and professionally at all levels
* Technical capability (or the ability to quickly develop capability) in systems such as:
* ieMR, HBCIS, ERIC
* Microsoft Office and other health information systems
* A qualification in Health Information Management is well regarded but not mandatory - relevant experience will be highly valued.

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.
We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.
Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion .
