**About the Australian Building Codes Board**:
Help us build a better Australia!

The Australian Building Codes Board (ABCB) ensures safe and sustainable building and plumbing systems through regulatory and non-regulatory measures.

Are you interested in the National Construction Code (NCC)? We'll show you how building regulations are developed, in collaboration with Australian governments and industry.

The ABCB is a joint initiative of the Australian, State and Territory governments. We're a standards writing body that develops the NCC and administer the WaterMark and CodeMark Product Certification Schemes.

As a high-performing and influential organisation, we work on contemporary issues affecting the building and plumbing industry.

In the past few years, our key achievements include delivering national improvements in energy efficiency, accessible housing, fire safety, plumbing performance and more.

Our small but powerful team is pushing ahead with a bold agenda including climate resilience, supporting the uptake of electric vehicles, further improvements in energy efficiency and more.

The ABCB's Education Team are responsible for developing digital guidance, education, support and events for practitioners and educators to improve understanding of the NCC.

**The opportunity**:
At the ABCB, our dynamic, multidisciplinary team has a unique opportunity to drive the future of construction within Australia. Our people come from diverse backgrounds, nationalities, and cultures.
