About the Role
Golden Edge Constructions is looking for a qualified carpenter who can run with a job and deliver top-quality work without hand-holding.
We are a timber-framing company that works across single-storey and double-storey residential builds, from volume projects to high-end homes, taking pride in getting it right the first time.
You'll be joining a tight-knit, fast-paced crew where everyone knows their role and gets on with it.
You'll work directly with the Director and Leading Hand, and depending on experience, may lead or mentor a small team of apprentices on site.

What You'll Bring
A qualified carpenter with solid residential timber-framing experience — both single and double storey.
Minimum 5–7 years of carpentry experience in residential timber framing.
Confident reading and interpreting plans, understanding load paths, wall layouts, and sequencing.
Capable of self-managing and working independently, planning ahead, solving problems, and delivering on time.
Professional and safety-focused, with a strong sense of pride in workmanship.
Adaptable across different sites and builders, working with major developers and custom builders alike.
Team-oriented, willing to support and guide apprentices when needed.
A clear communicator who understands deadlines, quality, and accountability.
